The Ethical Modernist.

High Numbers uses environmentally-friendly materials at every stage of the production process – from vegan leather, through linings, to threads, zippers, labels and packaging. These materials are certified, organic or recycled, which includes: organic cactus, organic bamboo viscose, recycled polyester and recycled paper.

High Numbers sustainable policy does not rest on the materials alone. They promote an inclusive culture, produce locally, pay fair wages, and their pricing is transparent.

High Numbers vegan leather is made of organic nopal cactus. The plant is highly CO2 absorbent, and 1 kg of cactus biomass needs 80% less water compared to other crops. The production process is entirely sustainable – the cactus is rain-fed, dried in the sun, and only mature leaves are cut, which allows for harvesting from the same plant for 8 years. What is more, 50% of the processed harvest is directed to the food industry.

The cactus leather is sourced from USDA Organic, GRS and PETA certified producer from Mexico.

High Numbers uses linings made of organic bamboo viscose. The fabric is highly breathable and has anti-bacterial properties. Bamboo grows very fast, do not need any pesticides or fertilisers, and requires smaller amounts of water than other crops.

The use of chemicals in the viscose process is strictly controlled and managed in a closed-loop system. The fabric is OCIA certified and conforms to Oeko-Tex Class I standards. The bamboo is sourced from FSC certified plantation in China.

Every detail conforms to High Numbers sustainable policy – threads, labels and zippers tapes are made from recycled plastic bottles. The zipper shine is obtained using neutral chemicals only. It helps to reduce waste, save CO2 emissions and softens the environmental impact of garments productions.

Threads are SMETA certified and produced in Germany. Zippers are Traceability&Fashion certified and produced in Italy. Labels are SMETA certified and produced in Poland. All details are Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certified.

All purchases come with a recycled cotton dust bag, recycled polyester flocked hanger, recycled paper garment bag and recycled polyester ribbon. All hangtags and cards attached are made of recycled paper.

High Numbers’ garments are produced in Poland, local craftsmen are paid fair, living wages and their pricing is transparent. They also donate 2% of every purchase to support social and environmental issues.
